So, here we have it. A fresh new blog for me, and the obligatory introductory post which says little more than, "Yippee, a new blog for me." I wrote quite a few of these intro posts over the years back at LiveJournal from 2002 onward; I'm less familiar with Blogger, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I've always liked having an internet bucket to toss my thoughts into, and I do prefer to do it without having to limit them to 140 characters, without hashtagging them, without worrying over downvotes or hoping for upvotes. The internet's gotten crowded since the days of Angelfire and Geocities. The crowd just keeps growing, and there's always less room to talk, and it keeps getting harder to find listeners. Shit, I might be getting old.
I have a lot of words. Hiding, somewhere. It's been ages since I've let many out. I wonder whether I'm still as good at letting them out as I used to be.
I suppose that's it. Cheers. There's work I should probably be doing.
